The first mission experience of Fr. Missay Soku Jérôme Nerio was in South Africa, a region unfamiliar to this young Comboni missionary from the Democratic Republic of Congo. Those first years in mission were full of wondrous surprise and joy for Fr. Jérôme. He is now in Chicago studying at Loyala University and helping at the Comboni Mission Center.
