From 10 to 21 November, Belém do Pará, on the banks of the Guamá River and in the heart of the Amazon, will host the 30th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). The event, known as COP30, marks three decades of multilateral climate negotiations — three decades of renewed hopes alongside recurring frustrations. À l’approche de la COP30, du 10 au 21 novembre 2025 au Brésil, les Églises d'Afrique, d'Asie, d'Amérique latine et des Caraïbes ont présenté un document appelant à la justice climatique, à une conversion écologique et à résister aux fausses solutions, notamment au capitalisme vert, vivement décrié. Les pays riches sont en particulier appelés à reconnaître leur dette écologique envers le sud.

De 30 de outubro a 2 de novembro, decorre o VII Seminário dos Religiosos Irmãos do Brasil, em São Leopoldo (RS), encontro promovido pelo Setor de Formação Continuada da Conferência dos Religiosos do Brasil (CRB Nacional). É uma reunião de Irmãos de várias congregações e regiões do país para um tempo de reflexão, oração e partilha.

Oggi Leone XIV ha ricevuto i Movimenti popolari venuti a Roma per il V Incontro internazionale e il pellegrinaggio giubilare. Ricordando il suo predecessore Francesco, ribadisce che “terra, casa e lavoro” sono “diritti sacri”. Punta il dito, poi, contro l'aumento delle ingiustizie sociali, i “danni collaterali” provocati dalle nuove tecnologie, il trattamento disumano verso i migranti e il dilagare di nuove droghe sintetiche, come il fentanyl che sta devastando soprattutto gli Usa.
