El 1 de mayo celebramos el 25 aniversario de la fundación de la Parroquia de San José Obrero. La arquitectura moderna de la iglesia es muy inusual en comparación con otras iglesias más antiguas de Macao. Encima del altar, en el centro del enorme mosaico en forma de cruz, está la imagen de Cristo resucitado ascendiendo al Cielo, con los brazos abiertos.

In a historic step, the Hanoi government has invited Pope Francis to visit the country. We talk with Mons. Nguyen Anh Tuan, bishop of Ha Tinh “New climate, trusting us more”. “The people were very happy to receive Pope Francis’ letter. It was the first time he addressed the faithful directly and they are now they are waiting for the opportunity to welcome him to Vietnam. We have wanted to invite him for several years. La revista misionera comboniana MUNDO NEGRO publica este mes de marzo el testimonio vocacional de un joven misionero comboniano vietnamita, Tran Minh Thong [en la foto]. Como el mismo relata, siendo estudiante de Secundaria cayó en una fuerte adicción al juego: «Gastaba el dinero, desperdiciaba el tiempo, descuidaba mi salud y me fui perdiendo en el mundo virtual. Durante esos años no me importaba mi futuro, solo pensaba en jugar y en estar en Internet. Mi vida no tenía sentido ni motivación.»
