Il mercato dei farmaci contraffatti continua a rappresentare un pericolo per la popolazione nell’Africa subsahariana, dove il 22,6% dei medicinali venduti sono scadenti o falsificati e il 34,6% non sono registrati. Il dato emerge da un rapporto pubblicato lo scorso luglio dall’editore britannico di riviste scientifiche Taylor & Francis Group e sviluppato da ricercatori dell’Università Bahir Dar che hanno analizzato 27 studi condotti su questo tema a livello nazionale in diversi paesi nell’arco di 10 anni, tra aprile 2014 e marzo 2024. It involves accountability relations between the Global North and the Global South. The guidelines exclude investments in gold or gold mining, recognising implications on sacrificed territories.
