The Comboni scholastics Jean Nestor Amenaglo, Armel Atohoun and Lionel Dofonnou were ordained to the diaconate on June 18 in the Comboni parish of Adidogome, Mary Mother of the Redeemer, by Archbishop Denis Amuzu-Dzakpah of Lomé. The three young men had made their perpetual profession on June 11. During the homily, the archbishop encouraged the candidates to live their ministry in the charity of Christ, showing to all the Mercy of the Father. Once again, the ordination ceremony has afforded to the young men of Adidogome the opportunity to understand the richness of the missionary vocation and to be challenged by what they have seen and experienced on that occasion. The new deacons will perform their ministry in the communities of the province where they are serving, respectively: Cacaveli, Toko-Toko and Tabligbo.
