The Comboni Missionaries of South Sudan Province have concluded their annual assembly in Juba this Sunday 20. A group of more than thirty brothers and priests came from the various dioceses and missions spread across the Country and gathered in the capital city of South Sudan to share their missionary experiences, to enjoy moments of spirituality and fraternity together and to evaluate the six year plan of the province. The theme of this assembly was “Human Development in the Context of Evangelization in South Sudan”.

This time were also present Fr. Enrique Sánchez González, Superior General, Br. Daniele Giusti, Assistant General, as well as Sr. Giovanna Sguazza, the provincial sister of the Comboni Missionaries Sisters in South Sudan. At the end of the assembly the missionaries challenged the seminarians of the Major Seminary of Theology in Juba for a football match. The game was well played and both team managed to score. Final score: Comboni Missionaries 3, Seminarians 3.
