The Comboni Missionaries in the Malawi–Zambia Province have yesterday witnessed the priestly ordination of Vincent James Muliza, a Malawian-born Comboni missionary. The newly ordained, Fr. Muliza, has been assigned to Costa Rica for his first mission.
The ceremony of the priestly ordination took place at St. Kizito Parish in Lisungwe, Blantyre, where the local ordinary, Archbishop Thomas Luke Msusa presided over the Eucharist.
Among those in attendance were Fr. Andrew Bwalya, Provincial Superior of the Malawi–Zambia Province, members of the Comboni family, diocesan priests, religious men and women, and a large gathering of lay faithful.
The celebration was vibrant and deeply communal, marked by singing, ululation, and dancing, reflecting the joy of the occasion. It concluded with a shared meal.
