Lanciato a Ginevra un documento congiunto del Pontificio consiglio per il dialogo interreligioso (Pcid) e del Consiglio ecumenico delle Chiese (Cec) “Educazione per la pace in un mondo multi religioso: una prospettiva cristiana” per incoraggiare le Chiese e le organizzazioni cristiane a riflettere sulle radici strutturali che hanno portato a turbare la pace nel mondo.

The leaders of the Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation (JPIC) sector of the Comboni circumscriptions of English-speaking Africa (APDESAM) and French-speaking Africa (ASCAF) met in an assembly from 1 to 7 April 2019, at the Good Shepherd Centre for Peace, south-east of Juba, South Sudan, to reflect on the “Catholic response to Justice and Peace issues in an ever changing Africa). Ten of the 13 circumscriptions had sent their representatives. The Central African Republic, Eritrea and Mozambique were justifiably absent. Fr. Arlindo Pinto had come from Rome to represent the General Secretariat of the Mission. The moderator was Aloys Ojore, professor at the Tangaza University in Nairobi (Kenya).

When a college student, Jemboy Caspis Salarde told his parents he wanted to be a missionary priest, they felt that such a vocation would deprive them of their only treasure. He waited. He even tried to put the call aside. Until he was no longer able to hold it back. Finally, the parents agreed: “Go with our blessing”. Mi nombre es David Aguilera, laico misionero comboniano de Granada, España, con próximo destino a Etiopía. En esta etapa, que se plantea dentro de mi preparación, he sido alumno de la Escuela de Formación Misionera de San Pio X. Desde mi experiencia, ha sido una gracia y un regalo, puesto que supone un punto de inflexión este proceso encaminado a mi misión en Etiopía, o en cualquier lugar donde Dios me ponga.
