A Chapter delegate Father Giuseppe Moschetta turns 80

Fr. Giuseppe Moschetta, delegate to the XVIII General Chapter of the Comboni Province of Central America (PCA), has turned eighty on 2 September. For the occasion, the seventy-six Chapter members gathered with joy around Fr. Giuseppe to celebrate the Eucharist and thank God for the gift of his life. Fr. Giuseppe, born in Farra di Soligo (Italy), was ordained a priest in June 1959, and subsequently entered the Comboni Missionaries, making his first profession the same year and, in 1962, his perpetual vows. He carried out his missionary activity in the Comboni missionary province of Mexico, from 1960 to 1989, and then he was sent to the province of Central America, where he is currently working. He is particularly known in Costa Rica for the radio program that he has been running daily on Radio Maria for the past several years, commenting on the readings of the Mass of the day.
