The young Margarito Santiago Garrido, a Comboni Filipino, took his perpetual vows in the Institute of the Comboni Missionaries on April 21, in Taipei (Taiwan). The following morning he was ordained deacon by Msgr. John Hung, Archbishop of Taipei. “The Christian community of Wugu – writes the superior of the circumscription of Asia, Fr. Miguel Ángel Llamazares González – was fully involved in the celebration and lived the moment with joy and gratitude for the gift of Margarito’s life to the Church and missionary service.”
