Provincial Assembly of the Comboni Missionaries of the Sudan

The provincial assembly for the zone of Sudan was held in the provincial house of Bahri from 26 to 28 October. The work of the assembly focused on the reception of the Chapter Acts and on a preliminary reflection for the forthcoming writing of the Six Year Plan. The assembly adopted some methodological choices which had been adopted by the 19th General Chapter; the community reports and the secretariats’ report adopted the eulogic method (centred on the seeds of life, the sicknesses that sometimes affect them and the vision of where God is calling us to be in the next 6 years). Also, the reflection that followed the reports focused on the dreams, the guidelines and the commitments that are to be embraced. This process of reflection will later on be elaborated and integrated with the reflection to take place in the zone of Egypt, for the drafting of the Six Year Plan.
