The Comboni Sisters have launched “Comboni Sisters – Women Beyond Borders,” a new digital media aimed at sharing the stories of missionary women working in existential peripheries around the world. This digital media seeks to give voice to these women and highlight their mission to be the yeast that a woman took and mixed in three measures of flour until all the dough fermented, inspired by the parable of (Mt 13:33).

The main goal of the project is to share stories of missionary women and other individuals living the mission experience in existential peripheries. Through these stories, they aim to amplify the experiences of resilience and hope of these women. Additionally, they will share stories about the ministerial impact the Comboni Sisters have had working with ordinary people, giving voice to these individuals as part of a unique evangelizing mission. As the founder of the Comboni Sisters dreamt, they aim to “Save Africa with Africa.”

The digital media will publish stories three times a week, and the public is invited to subscribe to the newsletter to stay connected with this important mission of “sharing stories about the organization’s ministerial work and the people they work with.” The digital media will focus on themes such as “Faith in Action,” “Stories of Hope,” and “Voices of Solidarity,” among other topics reflecting the life in which the Comboni Sisters are involved in their ministry.

Women Beyond Borders represents a new approach to communication and information, aimed at highlighting the stories of women and other individuals who have dedicated themselves to the mission towards existential peripheries and informing about news that does not have a big impact on conventional media.

We hope this initiative inspires others to share their bread and yeast. Stay tuned for upcoming stories on our website and social media.
