The Ambassador of Ghana to the Holy See visits the General Council of the Comboni Missionaries in Rome

This morning, the General Council of the Comboni Missionaries had the pleasure of receiving H.E. Mr Ben Batabe Assorow, Ambassador of Ghana to the Holy See. The meeting took place in a spirit of great cordiality and mutual esteem, within a constructive and open atmosphere of dialogue, animated by the shared desire to further strengthen cooperation.
The Ambassador expressed his sincere appreciation for the work that the Comboni Missionaries have carried out and continue to undertake in Ghana, underlining the positive impact and the quality of the initiatives promoted throughout the country.
The Superior General, Father Luigi Codianni, in turn, expressed sincere gratitude for the welcome that the country reserves for the confrères of the Institute and for the conditions that allow them to work freely and with dedication in pastoral and social service to local communities.
During the meeting, reflections were shared on the current international geopolitical and ecclesial situation, highlighting the challenges posed by the global context and the importance of a responsible and shared commitment, to which every community and institution is called to contribute for the good of peoples and nations.
