Religious Life for Climate justice: Turning hope into action

Catholics around the world are rising to meet the climate crisis with compassion, courage, and a sense of moral responsibility. Marking the Jubilee of Hope and the 10th anniversary of Laudato Si’ and, we are launching a global call to our leaders to meet the urgency of the moment at the upcoming UN Climate Conference (COP30) in Brazil. This event will offer an opportunity to explore how religious communities can transform hope into meaningful climate action, grounded in the principles of justice, care for creation, and solidarity. By amplifying marginalized voices and fostering collaborative solutions, this initiative seeks to put faith at the heart of climate justice in the lead-up to COP30.
