Forum of the Comboni Family on Integral Ecology 2025

Today, 11th November 2025, thirty-four members of the Comboni Family from across the world gathered at the Centro Social Sagrada Família in Belém, Brazil, for the Forum of the Comboni Family on Integral Ecology 2025. This year’s forum runs concurrently with COP30, an international conference on climate change.
The Forum of the Comboni Family on Integral Ecology (CFIE) thus offers a concrete expression of communion with those advocating for a justice society that respects and protects our common home.
The opening session began with a prayer, followed by a brief introduction about CFIE, its purpose, and mission. Thereafter, participants engaged in group discussions, followed by a moment of sharing and presentation of the program of the week. The day concluded with the celebration of the Holy Mass, during which participants gave thanks to God for the gift of creation and prayed for the grace to protect it.
