On Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 5.00 pm, the Missionaries of the Immaculate Conception-PIME will host, in the garden of their International Novitiate in the Parioli district, Rome, the presentation of the new “Fili di Speranza” collection, the solidarity fashion project promoted by Terra e Missione APS to support of sewing schools in Rome and Djalingo, Cameroon.

It is an afternoon of fashion, music and solidarity, where colours, fabrics and stories intertwine to transform creativity into tangible opportunities for training, work and independence for women.

The new “Fili di Speranza” collection portrays a contemporary Africa through unique, creative and colourful garments.

Each fabric becomes a thread capable of uniting distant places, different hands and the stories of courageous women. Even textile scraps are given a new lease of life through patchwork and creative recycling, making each creation unique and reflecting a fashion trend that is more mindful of sustainability.

The initiative stems from a network of organisations united by a common goal: to transform solidarity into tangible opportunities.

Alongside Terra e Missione APS, the following organisations are taking part: the Missionaries of the Immaculate Conception-PIME, Caritas Porto-Santa Rufina, CIOFS-FP Lazio ETS, the Confraternity of Santa Maria del Rosario and ACSE-the Comboni Association for the Service of Migrants and Refugees.

The fashion show will be followed by drinks in the garden and live music.
