Members of the Sudan and South Sudan Catholic Bishops’ Conference (SSS-CBC) have launched their first-ever Lenten campaign, expressing a commitment to work towards sustaining life and caring for creation in the two countries that have experienced decades of violence. In their pastoral exhortation for the inaugural campaign through Caritas South Sudan, the SSS-CBC members also underscored the urgent need to foster justice and peace in conflict-affected areas across both nations. Fear has gripped Nazaré Training Center of Mozambique’s Catholic Archdiocese of Beira following a Sunday, February 23 attack that left two Priests and a Religious Brother at the facility seriously injured. Lucía Fonts es misionera comboniana en República Centroafricana. Todo empezó en la Biblioteca de la Universidad, en Barcelona, con una revista que le llamó la atención y que le hizo conocer la labor misionera. Como estudiante de enfermería, su deseo era ser cooperante, pero el Señor quería más, le pedía la vida entera, y ella se dejó llevar.
