Neue Comboni-Jugendgruppe in Graz-Messendorf

In diesem Jahr hat sich in Graz-Messendorf eine zwar noch sehr kleine, aber dennoch feine Jugendgruppe gebildet. Die Gruppe besteht aus Jugendlichen, jungen Erwachsenen und Junggebliebenen, die gemeinsam verschiedene Projekte umsetzen und schöne Momente erleben möchten. [Comboni-Missionare]

Con audacia missionaria su strade nuove

«Non stancatevi di testimoniare la speranza sulle tante frontiere del mondo moderno, sapendo individuare con audacia missionaria strade nuove di evangelizzazione e di promozione umana». È questa la consegna affidata da Leone XIV ai numerosissimi partecipanti al Giubileo della vita consacrata, che stamane erano presenti in piazza San Pietro per l’udienza generale del mercoledì. Molti di essi hanno poi varcato la Porta Santa della basilica Vaticana iniziando di fatto il pellegrinaggio giubilare dell’Anno Santo, che avrà il suo momento culminante domani con la messa celebrata dal Pontefice.
Ethiopia: The Missionaries of Charity celebrate 25 years in Adola

The Missionaries of Charity today celebrated a quarter of a century in Adola. In Amharic, the administrative capital and holy city of the Guji people is called Kibre Menguist. Fr. Eliseo Citton, a Comboni missionary from the Italian province who worked with the Guji people, presided over the Eucharist, which was concelebrated by the parish priests of Qillenso (of which Adola is a part) and Soddu Abala, assisted by a Capuchin deacon.
