Celebration of the 25th Anniversary of VIVAT International

VIVAT International, an NGO that brings together 11 missionary congregations – including the Comboni Missionaries and Comboni Missionary Sisters – to promote the social Gospel at the United Nations in New York and Geneva, is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its founding this year.
VIVAT is a privileged channel that we, as missionaries, have at our disposal to make the cry of the poor and the cry of the Earth heard by those who make important decisions and approve policies that affect the lives of the people we accompany in our missions.
On this occasion, we want to celebrate the graces that the Lord has allowed us to experience through this advocacy work in support of the poorest and most abandoned.
The event consists of two webinars:
= 2nd June: 12:30 – 16:00 hrs Rome time. Theme: From The Grassroots To The Global: VIVAT International At The United Nations And Its Mission As Prophetic Dialogue For Social Transformation
= 3rd June, 11:30 AM – 2:00 pm Rome time.
> The Global Situation and its Impact on VIVAT International and its Mission.
> The Role of Multilateralism and Diplomacy in Fostering Peace, Justice, and Cooperation for the Common Good while Upholding the Dignity and Rights of All.
> The Vital Role of Faith-Based NGOs' Advocacy Work within the International Community in Conflict Situations.
